Quick Updates | Phase 2: Update Deployment and Installation

• In addition to Phase 1 released in October, this update reduces install time significantly to under 10 minutes.
• Additionally, the updater has now been enhanced to detect when the VCI Firmware is up to date and automatically skip its installation step, improving overall installation efficiency.

Merge PDF Reports option - Feature added that allows PDF report merging for diagnostic scan and calibration reports.

1. Navigate to the Saved Reports section
   1. Go to Settings → Saved Reports.

   2. A new "Merge" button is available on this screen. It remains disabled until two or more reports are selected, fig 1.1.

      

2. Select multiple reports
   • Choose two or more saved reports.

   • Once multiple reports are selected, the Merge button becomes active, fig 1.2.

     

3. Combine the selected reports
   • After clicking Merge the selected PDF reports.

   • The system generates a new consolidated PDF file, which appears under the newly added "Combined Reports" section, fig 1.3.

     

4. Edit the combined report’s name
   • Select the edit icon next to the newly generated combined report.

   • This opens a dialog where you can rename the report, fig 1.4.

     

5. Save the new name

   • Click the save button to update the report name, see fig 1.4 & the updated name will be saved, fig 1.5.

     

TruSpeed Repair: X-Series Branding Refresh

• Repair-Source is migrating to TruSpeed Repair by MOTOR & the branding on the tool has been updated as shown in figures 1.6, 1.7 & 1.8.
• TruSpeed offers expanded and faster coverage development, ADAS related procedures, advanced search capabilities and integrated information with hyperlinks to component locations, procedures and DTC troubleshooting.

New user icon added on home screen - SingleKey ID login and account management can now be accessed from the home screen. Users can now tap the new user icon circled yellow on Fig 1.1, on the ADS 625X main menu to securely sign in with their SingleKey ID, access profile information, or log off. This improvement streamlines credential management and supports secure diagnostic.

1. Logged out Home Screen - When no user is signed in, the ADS 625X main menu displays a generic user icon in the top right corner. Tapping this icon begins the SingleKey ID login process. Fig 1.1

   

    

2. SingleKey ID Sign In - Secure authentication. The tool opens a SingleKey ID sign in page Fig 1.2. Users enter their email or username to be redirected to the appropriate login or sign up page; this is consistent with the SingleKey ID login flow described in prior release notes.

   

    

3. Home Screen after Login - Visual confirmation of login. After successful authentication, the user icon reflects the logged in state Fig 1.3. The main menu remains unchanged, but the icon now holds the user’s profile.
